Steps for Upload
1) Item Type
Item type is the top-level category your item sits in, and changes the item attributes and sub-categories available for you to use. Once you've selected an item type, you cannot change it - so make sure you've selected the right one.
2) Item Title
Your item title should be accurate, simple and clear. Do not include marketing text. Must be no more than 50 characters and uses Camel Case (capitalize the first and last words, all principal words and any words longer than 3 letters).
Item Title & Description
Rather than including promotional text on your cover image (which isn't allowed), use this field to further promote your item, such as listing key features and benefits (up to 100 characters).
Choose which categories your item belongs to by selecting them here. While items can belong to multiple categories, please ensure you only select those which are actually relevant.
5) Cover Image
The cover image is displayed in search results and as the primary image on the item page, so make sure it looks great! Keep it simple and include no text on the image other than the Item Title (which should only be included if appropriate and looks good).

6) Preview Images
Preview images are optional and can be of varying size, however we recommend the same aspect ratio and dimensions as the cover image for best results. You can include marketing text on your preview images, however clean and professional looking previews work best. You can include up to 15 preview images on your item.

7) Item Description
The item description should be factual, clear and help the user understand the key uses and inclusions of your item. You can use Markdown to format your description, HTML code or links are not allowed.
8) Attributes & Tags
List all relevant attributes of your file here. These are key to help users determine the right file for their needs. Attributes provided are dependent on the Item Type selected. Include up to 15 tags to enhance discoverability of your item.

9) Envato Market Item ID
If you're offering an item on Elements which is already available on Market, please include the corresponding Market Item ID here. The Item ID is the numerical string at the end of your Market item's URL.
10) Publish Your Item
When you're finished preparing your item and you're satisfied it's ready for prime-time - check the Publish box before saving. Your item will then be in the Published state and will automatically be made available on the site when Elements is launched. Even though Elements hasn't launched yet - it's important to publish your items as you finish them, as this indicates to the Elements Content Team that you are finished working on that item and helps us with library management.
We're still developing item pages, so at this stage you cannot preview your finished item on the site. In the mean time, check out this mock-up of the way we expect the final item page to look to help you contextualize how your item will be displayed when we go live. Please note - this is a work in progress and the final design may change.
